About me

Hi, I’m Tommaso!

aka Tommy(llustrations)

I was born in Italy, and lived in Paris area for most of my life. After 3 years in València, Spain, I am now currently back in France, in Bordeaux Area.

Before starting to work on illustration and narrative arts, I studied biology up to PhD level. In parallel of my thesis research work, I worked in a museum in Paris, le Palais de la Découverte. This experience kindled my interest to communicate science and knowledge in general to the public.

I speak four languages: Italian, French, English and Spanish. I have worked and traveled in several countries (France, the USA, Germany, Spain).

Today, I continue to develop creative and illustration-based approaches to communicate knowledge about culture, history, science and more. I also work on fictional pieces in the form of illustrations, comic books and other graphical narrative art.
